Specs at a Glance
If you're in the market for an exhilarating performance sedan, Cadillac offers one of today's most exciting lineups. The compact Cadillac CT4-V certainly promises to deliver an exciting driving experience. Here's an overview of how the CT4-V Base compares to the CT4-V Blackwing.
Performance
Powering the CT4-V Base is a 2.7-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It's rated to develop a rousing 325 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission sends power to the wheels. While a rear-wheel drive setup comes standard, you can opt for all-wheel drive. Racy features, such as a sports-tuned suspension with adaptive dampers and Brembo front brakes, enhance the car's performance capabilities.
Underneath the CT4-V Blackwing's hood rests a 3.6-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Cadillac tunes it to crank out a thrilling 472 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque. In contrast to the CT4-V Base, the CT4-V Blackwing allows you to choose between a six-speed manual gearbox and a 10-speed automatic transmission. Also, keep in mind that the CT4-V Blackwing is a rear-wheel drive (RWD) only model.
Appearance
The CT4-V Base has a powerful appearance. Stylish elements, such as a performance-inspired front fascia and quad exhaust outlets, give it a commanding road presence. An eye-catching set of 18-inch alloy wheels with performance tires adds more flair.
The CT4-V Blackwing features some of the same eye-catching exterior features. However, there are some noticeable differences as well. While wider performance tires give the car an especially muscular stance, a unique front bumper with an extended chin spoiler enhances its aerodynamics.
Features
Cadillac equips the CT4-V with a long list of premium features. Some of the highlights include front performance seats, a 14-speaker Bose audio system, an HD digital gauge cluster, and an updated infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay®/Android Auto® smartphone connectivity.
The CT4-V Blackwing's list of standard equipment is similar to that of the CT4-V Base. However, it's important to note that certain driver-assistance technologies are not offered on the manual-equipped Blackwing model. These features include Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Automatic Braking, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
