Cadillac is taking its racing division to new heights with the expansion of a two-car factory team. Cadillac announced that starting in the 2025 racing season, it will launch a two-car factory program called Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA. The team will compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship, racing alongside some of the most talented teams in the world.
With the launch of its new racing team, Cadillac says, comes experienced drivers along with decades of technical and racing expertise. The team is poised to continue Cadillac's historic successes on the track, and they'll help promote Cadillac's brand name around the world.
Although the Hertz Team JOTA has aspired to become a manufacturer team for years, that dream is finally becoming a reality. The team will drive the No. 12 and No. 38 V-Series R race cars, designed with a powerful V8 Cadillac engine. Drivers will be announced before the 2025 racing season starts. Although the 2025 season hasn't started yet, the 2024 season has brought success for the Cadillac racing team. Notably, Cadillac scored a third-place finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. This finish was even more impressive because it was Cadillac's first WEC season. In 2023, Cadillac secured finishes in the top five places at Portimao, Sebring, and Spa-Francorchamps. Cadillac and Hertz are looking forward to another strong race season in 2025.
