We appreciate the technology loaded into Cadillac models. Recently, Cadillac announced a new feature available to drivers of its connected models. It helps you easily pay to park your Cadillac in city settings.
What Is This Feature?
Today's connected Cadillac vehicles offer a shopping portal called GM Marketplace, which lets you order food during your commute and complete other time-saving actions. Now, this interface also lets you easily find parking in urban areas and pay for it electronically. Branded Cadillac Parking Technology by ParkWhiz, this convenient feature can lower your city-driving stress.
How Does It Work?
Before you first use ParkWhiz, you must set up an account on the company's website that includes payment details. When you open ParkWhiz within your Cadillac Marketplace interface, it will show you available spaces in paid-parking lots near your location. You will see prices and availability. You will select your preferred lot via Marketplace, which will also electronically handle the payment.
Which Cadillac Vehicles Can Connect to ParkWhiz?
Any Cadillac with GM Marketplace functionality available through its in-dash touchscreen can now access ParkWhiz. This currently includes over 300,000 Cadillac vehicles built since 2017. If you already own such a Cadillac, you will now find the ParkWhiz icon within your GM Marketplace interface.
What Else Can Your Connected Cadillac Marketplace Offer You?
Expect regular additions to your Cadillac Marketplace commerce portal. In addition to helping you find parking in 250 cities, Marketplace lets you buy pizza from your preferred Domino's location. In many locales, the in-car shopping experience also provides convenient access to coffee, gas, and entertainment opportunities.
